2.1 Zetec Bottom End Brand new
For Sale 2.1 Zetec engine Been Bored out to 2.1 litre
Comes complete bottom end
I got the engine off ebay but realised i cannot affoard to fit the engine till feb when i have a week off
decided makes more sense to sell the bottom end so i can affoard christmas
I got the engine off ebay drove to Oxford to collect from leeds
The engine has been stripped by myself to check the new shells all spot on
Cleaned the block and galleries using industrial degreaser, compressed air and some tiny paint brushed
I then re fitted the crank with new 5w 50 full synth oil on the bearing faces and crank
Tightened as per Hayne manual
Refitted the pistons using the same oil to lubricate the bores and WD40
Then oiled the big end conrod bearings and fitted New ARP bolt set with provided lube
I then check to see it turned freely which it did
I then stripped one of my spare oil pumps which was spot on no marks or signs or scoring, oiled and fitted with new gasket and instant gasket to hold in place
fitted new seals either side and replaced the flywheel gasket
Then cleaned a 1.6 pickup pipe of my spare engine and refitted with new gasket
Then added the baffel that attached to the main caps
Cleaned the 1.6 sump with the same industrial degreases and fitted with new gasket
I then installed the dip stick and taped the top of the engine so no debris or swarf could get it and filled the breather case with grease paper
I have photos of the entire rebuild and a video of the crank turning after being torqued up
Cost me in total around £600 with all the gaskets, fuel and parts I had spare
Im open to offers if i dont get what im wanting will just sit in my garage
I also have a 2.0 head, head set, new head bolts and 2.0 cams with DEEP ECU
I would rather keep these but if i get a good offer will sell the lot
The head is currently being porting so I have pics of this too
offer around £400, sean 07969408299 In Leeds but could meet
