Posting this up early because it's not cheap so gives people time to save up

It's such an excellent event with the park open until 9pm, meaning it's open in the dark. It was very quiet in the evenings last year too so no queues hopefully! For more information on the Scarefest event click here:

Currently the price is £67.13*, A live price which can change frequently as the regulars know! This package, based on 4 sharing, includes Bed & Breakfast in the Splash Landings hotel and 2 tickets for the park (one for each day) along with FREE car parking.

I will book the first room(s) in early September. We will be in groups of 4 and this is how I will book the rooms, first 4 or 8 to pay will have a space, if you're 9th then you will either need to wait for 3 more or book your own. Kinda harsh but leaving it late causes prices to go up unfortunately!

As always you are more than welcome to come for just 1 day! Tickets after 4pm are £10

Meeting place is the usual at 9:30am. For those that can't remember or don't know it's Uttoxeter services on the A50 with the McDonalds and Esso garage. It's the roundabout where everyone has to turn off the A50 and go up the smaller road past the JCB place. If you still don't know, send me a PM and I'll show you on a map.

That is pricey, problem is there's nowhere else locally we could stay for the 2nd night is there ?

My price is a specific package for 4 sharing with 4 2-day tickets on the set dates etc. Very precise lol. Although I've noticed the prices for the 2 days before we're going are way higher than our days

It only works out cheaper if there's 2 of you in a room and it lacks some of the atmosphere too as those who have been in the Splash Landings hotel may say. If you'd like a room for 2 people, the cheapest is the Holiday Inn Express in Stafford, 23 miles away too and comes in at £71 for b&b and tickets. I tried looking up prices for 3 and 4 people to a room but it doesn't show any results.

So if there's only 2 of you for a room then the surrounding hotels will be cheaper but you don't get the added bonuses that you get from the SL hotel like discount vouchers and free parking etc.
