For those experiencing slow loading times
Can you please bookmark this link:
http://www.fiestaturbo.com/static.htm
Next time it runs slow, try that link and see if that loads ok.
- If it doesn't then it looks like a connection problem.
- If it loads ok then it could be database related.
Please let me know your responses below. Thanks!

ok, well I had to log in this morning. I'm almost certain I haven't deleted my cookie. It happened over the weekend too...
When it's slow it takes a while to load up any page, but it seems sporadic as to when it happens. For instance, when replying to this post I waited a good minute for the page to load, only to have it tell me the topic does not exist. When I went back to retry it just flew along no problem.
I tried the static page both when the site was slow and at normal. It does load when it's slow, but it just takes a bit longer (marginally, and probably down to my connection rather than the site)
EDIT: when I say marginally, I mean 3 seconds rather than instantaneous...

9:47 to 9:56am (ish) it has just been slow, but the static page (which I had not visited before) loaded immediately
Edit: By slow, I mean totally non-responsive

Forum went dead for 5-10 minutes a few minutes ago (from around 4:25-4:35). Static page took about five seconds to load, which is slow by normal standards, but loaded nevertheless.

It's died on me about three times tonight for over 5 mins at a time. Static page has loaded fine on all occasions.

Just died from about 8:25 - 8:40pm and logged me out.
Opened a new window and tried the static page with no joy after 10 seconds. Closed the other FT.com window (that was trying to load), click the Favourites link for the static page in my still-open window and it loaded straight away.
Shows/Events pages were loading when the forum wouldn't, even though they were slow.

everytime I go to the forums, its slow. Static page always loads fine for me. But every time I go to the forums it's VERY VERY slow and it really annoys me having to wait about a minute for it to load one thread
Dreaming of my first FRST....

21:30 - 21:40 slow for me tonight, while I was trying to look at this topic. Static page, YouTube and Windows Live Mail fine, but LiveJournal was slower than normal (probably coincidence though).

All pages working fine, including the static page. Does however lock up when posting a reply. I think it's a conspiracy
EDIT, yet that reply went straight through!
