Re: How not to do a flame kit!
It was hilarious lol, we look back and laugh out funlumps off about it, he wants to make it bigger and better, this time it WILL go bang!!!!
It is a homemade kit yeah, the reason it started we believe was because he spilt the smallest amount of fuel in the boot and on the exhaust, he didnt think about cleaning it up, he just wanted flames lol, so yeah, the vapour lit up and set the car on fire, i will have to see if i can get some pics of the inside of it lol.

i saw this on a forum....
"A friend of mine has an obsession with flame kits on his cars, his latest one being a fiat cinquento. He decided to try make a flame kit with additional fuel being pumped into the exhaust..
it worked for a tiny bit until this happened.... very lucky yet stupid boy!
not sure if anyones seen it yet but heres the link"
Basically he had a petrol can in his boot linked to the exhaust

Re: How not to do a flame kit!
That might have come from saxperiance originally as my mate chloe put it on there, it seems like her writing lol.. its on ALOT of sites lol.
I uploaded it friday morning about 1am or so, and its already got nearly 8,000 views, in 24 hours, it had just over 3,000, a few hours later, it was upto just over 7,000 lol. Its speading like mad!
Update on the way it started, he says he thinks that the pump was the cause of it mainly, because it had a started to leak during flaming which he didnt know about as the pump is in the boot, then as you can imagine, petrol and electricity... dont go together! lol

Re: How not to do a flame kit!
As funny as it may be you mate's a bit of 'conquering device' - I'm surprised it's not turned into a fireball whilst the car has been driven around, and the event of an accident it could easily result in some kind of inferno.

yes I believe flamethrowers are illegal in most of the United states, but in Australia I think its legal. but if you want it just for show and not for the street you could put it up before going to a show.
