Blimey....... havent updated on here for a while!!! Suppose I better do one.
Im sure most of you will have seen classic ford last month, well that was me and calums grafters feature so you will have seen some piccys of the cars as thay are now!!
My last post was talking about getting the intercooler done, heres some piccies of how it is
Few things have changed around in the engine bay dew to the amount of room we have to play with, breather you see in the pics is going the other side along with the header tank nearer the front re-sessed in the inner wing  All of this is trial and error really
Also the exhaust manifold is done, SIMPSONS have made an awsome job of it. Few things may need altering as of turbo change but...
Axle is back in, going with the tramp bars and panhard rod to begin with, see how it copes?!
We ended up doing an exhaust tunnel aswell as a 3" system isnt going to fit underneath Should do the job just extending off of the gearbox tunnel..
Fuel tank is sitting in the boot also but have no photos as of yet so il leave with a few piccies of the car... Oh and also have the new turbo which il get a photo of.. only a baby mind dew
One of me faves
Will do another update in a bit, cheers for looking

Cheers for the comments guys!! Been trying to sort out the engine bay today... fillerering the inner wings trying to smooth things out I hate body work!!!!
Anyways got a couple of piccies of the engine!
Cams and pulleys are away being dowled at the mo, hence why there missing from the head!! Hopefully painting the custom sump tomz and should have the cams back early part of next week. Engine should then be complete.... i hope

Re: Mk1 cortina (The zetec lives on) * Engine pics*
A little update
Heres some pics from the weekend
I started the friday evening off by making the alloy plate for the floor in the boot replacing the origional petrol tank. This is going to stay removal hense not welding it up with steel. I think my fuel pump and filter will make there way onto this in some kind of a bracket...
Then I got on with finishing the prepping to the engine bay and started masking I hate filler and anything to do with it!! Actually I dont like bodywork full stop... and I take on a mk1 cortina :?
Another mate came down to lend a hand
Packed up around half 1am and got set up for sat morning.
First thing sat morning got the car in the oven and finished off masking and looked out for any spots I might of missed... which paint just happens to bring out!!!
Calum helped.... whilst modelling his ugly mug on my inner wing...
You cant be too carefull about overspray
Started by spraying etch (spelling) prima on all bare metal to give it a good key..
Followed by the grey prima
We left the car all day so the prima could go off so we got on with cals car.
Then around 10pm we got back on with the miss coat and then the flatterening
It took both of us a good few hours to flattern and started to prep for the colour around midnight  :ykt:
The colour
Let the spraying commence, I got the best sprayer in town...
Finished sat night well sunday morning 2.30am. We were back down there for 9.30am to finish off by body guarding the chassis rails and front panel..
The end result which im very chuffed with
The roof of the car will be sprayed to match at a slightly later date and maybe next year the whole car may go that colour?! Ermine white...
Also in the spare time we had over the weekend we panelled out the back of cals 100e with alloy and got all that painted also to match
All in all we got loadsa done so were very happy
Cal was flat out all weekend helping me with the cortina whilst trying to do his own car... he looked like this by the end of it... CHEERS MATE!!
