Hi guys, some of you know that i bought a fiesta off ebay a few months back and the sale fell through as the seller was a tw*t.

Anyway, I've won another on ebay and i'm going to pick it up on saturday :D

I'll give you more info when i get it home and take some pic's.

That looks quite clean - looks like some major orange peel effect on that rear bumper though!!

Are you going to put a 2i spoiler on the back? would make it look a lot less plain along with a mk4 wiper

Interior? Si in there and that's one perfect car!

Damn right ;)

It needs a bit of work. Both front and rear bumpers, and mirrors need respraying as the finish is sh!t and there the wrong colour .

Plan of action is:

Fog lights working
Source and fit 5 door si wingback interior Done
Xr spoiler Done - RS accessory
Leather gear gaitor - Done
Underseal arches and and sills - Done
Spray mirror base plates black - Done
Smoke indicator strip black on rear clusters - Done
Fit clear side repeaters Done

The more I look at the outside the more I think it needs xr2i arches with side skirts and the base plates of the mirrors sprayed black with some smoked side repeaters..... there's just so much red going on!

Bit of an update - Done some work on the fez over the last few days. Undersealing sills, arches tidying them up a bit. Also smoked the rear clusters as per the guide on FG. I also got rid of the horrid red mirror baseplates! - well, sort off :D I've sprayed them black.

Heres some pics for you :)

Wet and dried the lights

Masked and tinted

Test fit for bulb brightness

After a few coats of lacquer

Fitted to the car

Now onto the mirror baseplates :D

Rubbed down and primered. (This is the only pic of the primered stage but i did a few coats.)

First coat of black :D

after a few more coats

And all shiney after a coat or two of lacquer :D
Image
Now fitted on the car

And some general shots after a clean :D

Went scrappers today and got a fannymold heatshield thingy as mine didn't have one - total pain in the arse to get the bolts out as well i might add! Makes a big difference now, gets up to temperature nice and quick, also tidys the bay up abit too. Especially good seen as we're nearing winter

Got some smoked side repaters in the post too so should have some pics soon. Didn't intend on getting smoked sides but they were cheaper than the clears so thought why not + it will match with the red and black theme :D

ooo and might have an SI interior soon so watch this space!
