Well i finally had the money to buy my frst so i went out and bought it.Iv always wanted one so was really happy to get one untill the problems started the day after i got it.i put a post in the tecnical section and was told the turbo had gone so i replaced that with a 2nd hand one off rs steve/fezzablower off here happy dayz i had no more smoke but i have now got a bad rattle from the engine.so not good times at the moment.The car is standard apart from the stainless exhaust and blue samcos under the bonnet. So to cheer myself up and make the car look better i got the buffer and polish out today and started giving it a quick buff and polish.And here are the results of a 2hour buffing and polishing session.

really happy with the results but the filler area and quarter have been painted very badly and could do with a trizact.and the bottom of the passenger door has bad paint.
future plans are to get it running properly get it set up then get the n/s painted.

after being messed about and not having the time or funds to put this car right i am selling up.both this and the lexus are up for sale as need the money for a house deposit and a new diesel car.lol.its in the for sale section

it just gets better and better.got my new cam the other day and as the weather was good decided today was the day to put it all back together.cam in,lifters in,rockers on and everything else ready.i have fitted a airtec intercooler and you have to take the pipes off the rad to get it in,so got that all done.double checked everything all seems good.all i had to do was fill the water up and start the engine or so i thought.putting the water in and squeezing the pipes it started filling up but half way up the rad there was a leak pissing water out. i must of hit the manifold with the rad and its put a hole in it.not happy.picking a new rad up tomorrow so hopefully this week it WILL be running.

bummer about the rad, but look at it as a way to upgrade to a alloy one, get it powder coated black (or paint it) and it will look standard

black is my second fav colour FRST, i had one as well as my red one years ago, when money permits, might looks for another black frst as a run around/everyday one

just picked up a standard rad as i just want to get it running and get rid.spend to much on it and dont want to spend anymore on it.its in the for sale section £1500 is a bargain for it.im gonna lose £1k on it in two months

its just costing me money and its not running yet.lol.dont want to spend anymore on it or as little as poss to get it running then sell it so someone can use it and do what i cant afford at the moment.struggling to get rid of the lexus at the moment.
