OFAB / 1.1 engine loom pin outs
Hi all,
I need to try and sort my engine loom wiring tomorrow, as one loom has the small plug and one has the large plug.
I do have an adapter that I got from Ryan on here, but It still leaves me with a loose wire on the adapter and one on the car loom. I also don't 100% trust it not to fry anything - but I guess I could give it a go.
Ideally I want to pull the pins out of the OFAB loom and put them in the 1.1 loom plug.
Any help welcome! I know this has been done 100's of times but I'm overly paranoid and haven't done it before!!
Also, The only wiring that looks suitable for the Amal valve has a 2 pin plug on instead of the usual two spade plug - is this normal?
Cheers

Thanks for the link, so are the pin-outs for a 2i loom the same? But the ECU pins different between 2i/rst?
This is the loom I bought, the plug is in the top left of the photo and is the wire is long/has been extended..
Maybe IH wasn't planning on running an Amal valve on Rob's engine?

RS rob :ian also had a look at my loom which i was dreading as it looked a nightmare, much to my suprise he disconnected the bits i did'nt need and helped me lable all the connectors
the loom went from this
to this, much happier
the parts with the green and yellow tape are not needed as their either diagnostic ports
or parts from the fiesta turbo loom which basically just are not used
i plan to tidy the loom up later on, but before i cut anything i want to make sure the engine runs first

Well I had a look at the adapter I have and also noticed the rev counter wire is cut 2" from the plug on the engine loom plug engine side for some reason!
