Possible scammer on the loose!

Postby dontpannic on Mon Aug 03, 2009 9:17 pm

Just to make you aware there is a known scammer going round Ford forums. Just posting this from elsewhere and have informed the moderators just in case:

Benham from UKFN :Please be aware that member "stuarts" is a well known scammer.

This will be dealt with, but please be aware that Paul Woodard:

Who looks like this:
Image

And lives in Widnes Cheshire, is stuarts.

Please do not communicate with this member. If use any other car forums feel free to let them though he's doing the rounds again.

Regards,
Andy

I knew it!!!

I wanted to buy some samco hoses, but when i was asking the guy what color they where and for pic's... measurements and length etc.... He didnt know and couldnt upload pictures... Then he wouldnt accept paypal...

I was propper pissed off that i'd wasted 7 emails to find out he would'nt upload pic's, and would'nt sell via paypal and then i did think the way he turned down my offer (and didnt say anything like, looking for more, just "no way". Was weird...

Anyway, the ugly c**t didnt get my money!

Let's just wind him up, and get random details from him, then call the POLICE!!!! :D

If it's helpful to one of the admins, one of my mates works for a private tracking company. They locate missing people on the run from the authorities and have legal permission aslong as a warrant for their request is active. Regardless my mate will do it...

So it would be possible to track the phyisical location of the guy aswell as any sites he's been actively on. E.g. hotmail/yahoo w.e....
And thats just from an I.P.

Presuming the picture is actually him, it would also be possible to look him up on CCTV Central Admission's and check phone/address and also bank accounts.

Let me know via PM and i can get you all the guys personal details :D

Only thing is, as i havnt lost anything personally i can't sue him... It would have to be somebody who has experienced an unlawful loss!

What a tw*t, i had a message from him in response to my "Euro rear lights" thread saying that he had a set and wanted £50 for them, when i asked about their condition he said "excellent condition, hardly used as i wrote the car off a few months after putting them on".......... i then asked for pics....... he said "sorry i haven't got any pics, they are in my unit".

I was tempted by the price but something in my head was telling me that it weren't right........... glad i didn't act on my temptation now.......... hope the gimp gets caught

Police know about it and know all his details, have been to see him, told his mum, she got cross, he said he would stop etc. etc.

Guys a total w@nker, took over £2k from people on a c*rsa website, none of which, as yet has been returned.

We started a min post rule a while ago on "West Of Scotland RSOC" site. Only 10 posts tho. Anything under is deleted immediately without explanation.
More for new peeps treating the site as the Ad Trader rather than scammers.

"active for at least a month" is a good idea.
