Hello People,

Some of you may be aware that i have not that long brought my Xr2i so thought it was about time that
i posted some pics of the progress that i have made, Juat cant wait until April until i can drive her! (damm insurance company)


1st of All pics of her Standard before i owned her! Outside



Inside (soon to be replaced with FRST interior)





This was the condition when i brought the car from mike-xr2i- (top bloke)
minus the wheels got standard 2i rims!





The engine with k+n


3.5 inch Mongoose Backbox (very nice purrrrrrrrrrr)



The new lights i have got not bad i think better than before IMO



Now she is down the bodyshop getting touched up here and there and new mirrors added colour coded mk3.5
Bumper strips black and side strips removed

Nice car mate all you need now is the turbo interior i put it in my 2i and was much better even fooled some people even though i still had the blue stripes.

lol, i bought some xr2i pattern recaros i put in, but i took them out when i sold it as they cost me £190!!! now theyre sat in my falling apart, red, rattly, slow as u like, gutless, piece of cr4p useless 1.3 fiesta. incase u didnt guess, goin from 8.5 0-60 to 15, hasnt pleased me hehehe

FRST seats are so comfortable, you will nvr wanna get out
the blue strips looked mint!

Car is still in body shop but has new interior now, FRST!

and the car is totally ready for spraying! will get some pics up soon!

Eventually got the car on the ramps to look @ the holes in the sills

Drivers side front,

Took some pics of the car with no rear bumper on






As you have seen on my pervious pics that i am working on the FRST bonnet but have decided to do the whole bonnet for a better finish!





So rear bumper is off for painting




Then decided to take the front bumper off (wish i didnt now!)

The front bumper was bodged with fibreglass and a bit of metal tied with cable ties to the front of the car, as the bumper mounts were rusted off the bumper! so need a ned bumper now! here is some pics of the action happening,




the finshed product with rust killer on! and will be ready for painting soon!




Now some pics for the photoshoppers! to please play with and change my wheels to RS 7 Spokes or any thing wit about 7/8 spokes silver or white

Tiller got ur self a nice clean motor there! apart from the sills!! Make sure u get them sorted! thats what caused the death of my previous xr!!

i aint mate taken the vents out so it is easier to paint then! covered then from underneath with paper!
