Rolling road session , : )

Postby ben26 on Mon Dec 11, 2006 6:12 pm

After my first trip down the thr R/R and not even knowing that i had a stage 1 chip in it with beiges i finally got round to getting a stage 2 powerchip , so i though i better take it down to Alan Jefferys rolling road down in Plymouth to get set up

with the stage 1 chip in a had

152 bhp

and

150 lbs/torque and it was running very very very rich

this time .............

i managed a great :

172 bhp

199 ft/lb of torque

With running only 15 psi or 1 bar

so very pleased , its just the size of the turbo that resticts the cars bhp now with it being a T2, but with neally 200 ft/lb's of torque and vertually no lag i think i will keep her as she is , engine wise that is .

It felt like the car was quicker but it was hard to tell as it was p1ssing down last night when i came back so she was just spinning up ............................ i know, i got my car wet , the first tiem in the 5 months i have had the car :x

:D Good stuff
What come's next? who care's, why worry about things over which you have no control. Freedom is a voyage of discovery with all the enjoyment of seeing things and experiencing events for the first time. Just sit back and enjoy the ride.
