New Cam, Night Pics + 1.7 Mk4 & Corsa C! --- 512k Warnin

Postby Max M4X WW on Mon Sep 18, 2006 10:43 pm

Long winded post coming up, Sorry..

Got a new camera a couple of weeks back, seeing as ive done a couple of bits to the car i thought id try it out.

Used a combination of Night Portrait, Night Scenery, Firework (yellowish pics) and Starry Sky (15sec) modes. Its a Panasonic TZ1 for anyone in the know. Not an SLR or anything but seems to work ok.

Cocked the light up in the long exposure ones a bit but i know next time.

All ive done to my car is the pop outs, uk rs drivers cluster and another exhaust that still doesnt fit!

First pic i took is one of the best..

Looking good, pop-outs don't half make a difference. What did you do about the red in the end?

Looking good Max, one of the best on the site :)

Noticed you have cut down your aerial... i know it sounds dumb, but how'd you go about this.. i kinda gave up after i started mauling the little end bit on mine  I can't figure if it unscrews or just pulls off? Cheers :)

I cut the end off with a knife then glued it on. Looked ok but then found a little end tip grommet at work!

Used a hacksaw before that, had to thin the end down to fit the std rubber bit!

Got RingSportz Blue's in the headlights, 80/100w. Never get flashed and they are quite white. With very good white led sidelights.

100w Rally bulbs in driving lights without any tint.

Dodgey cheap ebay 55w blue/white fog bulbs.

lol, i'll try gluing first, see how that goes, then i might hassle you :D Cheers dude 8)

Yeah, i did put one on my XR2 a few months before i took it off-road for a resto/ smoothing session..

Image

But i've been thinking about smoothing it off totally, but can't decided as i like the look of it up there

So was going to do it to my actual Focus' aerial for now, then i can swap it over once the XR is finished :)
