Over the last year I have been asking numerous questions on here to help me with my car. I thought it was about time I shared Project Black with you all.

Enjoy,

Yeah - what those guys said!

Yours now:

Mine:

I don't think you'd need to bother colour coding the arm though, just keep it back to blacked!

That's a very impressive looking car you have there though mate - I like your style of unveil it all at once!

Got any pics of the car before/during modding it?

Cheers,

Andy

Not yet, they are on the list of many things to come. But unfortunately being a pour degree student I have spent my limit of hard earned cash for my car for the next few months. I shall keep you all posted. Roll on Xmas for the overtime.

Things I have done,

Rear light Mod
Side Repeaters

Front & back smoothed XR2i bumpers
Smoothed the toe eye
(no arches or sideskirts, yet :D)

15" Escort GTi wheels with Toyo t1 Proxes 195/45/15

EBC Disks, EBC Green Stuff pads, EBC rear shoes.

Spax -40mm Springs

Debadged the rear
(Front is to come)

The engine stuff.

I'm happy with it. Unfortunately I don't have the money to finish it for a few months yet, so I shall keep you posted.

Thanks for the great feedback.

Looks nice. I dont rekon you should put XR/RS skirts and arches on it cos then it just becomes another XR/RS relica (not that theres anything wrong with them, but there a quite a few out there) I think something like RS Accessory Skirts (the rounded type) would look good. :)

AndyBlackFRST: I'm from Woking, so I'm in Surrey. That's very kind of you mate, PM me :D also I commute to Epsom everyday, so if your round there that isn't a problem either.

TonyBlackFRST: The lights were sprayed black by the looks of them. I brought them on ebay, I got taken to the cleaners on them. :(

Cheers for the response and tips.
