Pictures of the making of my new custom exhaust system
It was now more evident that the need for a custom exhaust was now not an option however more of a nessesity therefore we decided that we needed a much larger system all the way from the turbo to the rear as the power the engine was producing now along with the boost we are running the old exhaust system was simply far from man enough to cope. So off to Tube Torque in Macclesfield I went and boy oh boy....with a whole new huge system from back to front the diffierence was truely amazing. Popped through Mark Shead's on the way back and after he took it for a spin his face was lit up with a huge grin.
Got there bright and early.
Mark wastes no time and gets cracking with the new downpipe etc.
We're getting there!
Starting to get dark and we have a power cut! Mark is determined and gets lots of extension leads and brings them across from his other unit - there was no stopping this man!
Every aspect of the system made spot on
Big thanks to Mark at Tube Torque - top man!

Do you have any idea what 178.8mph feels like in a Fiesta? 2000 lb of pressure per square inch per second pushing back on your face. It feels like god himself is trying to rip the skin off your skull while someone lands a 747 on your chest.

Thanks guys. The diffierence is amazing. She rev's all the way upto the limiter in 5th quick enough as it was but now it's staight there! Good few tweeks left yet - I am not finished with her yet - much more power yet to come.
Ade - No problem pal, I was very busy myself (had to stay another night as there simply was not enough time to meet everyone etc) - got in a few hours ago. Next time!
Thanks - Sunny.

thanks guys.
CharlieP - what size bore do you have and what engine spec?
Alot of times having a bore that is too big will not help you at all then again to be able to justify a whole 3" system you have to be producing some serious power.
Hello Anna...I was gonna say "wanna come over to see the size of my bore?"
Prit - I'll be down yours at some point this weekend.
Thanks - Sunny.

The thing I love about the way they've made that exhaust is that, unlike a lesser company (*cough* Longlife *cough* Powerflow) who would mandrel bend one long pipe, leading to bore size restrictions around the bends, this looks to have been made from an awful lot of sections and selded together extremely cleanly.
I am truly impressed... again (two minutes after posting about the Zeta turbos)
