My car has been keyed
As people who have me on their msn list will now my car has recently been keyed.
i'm not talking slightly there are over 100 gouges and they cover every single panel.
They have been taken right to the metal of the car.
i'll put up pics when i take some
what should i do. i know the car needs a full respray but is there anyway i can stop it happening again.
Personally i would love to wire it up to the mains so the little baxtered would fry when the touched it with a key. but alas it is illegal and i would get done for it.
does anyone know who does reasonably priced CCTV setups. would be worth ago. is there any way i could make the alarm more sensitive to combat this. pos a proximity sensor that blips the alarm and indicators when you get to close.
my alarm is a toad Ai606 system does anyone know if this is possible.
its also a total closure system!

aaah
that really is gash.
Your alarm can be fitted with a dual zone proxy thingamy that will make you paranoid and get on your neighbours funlumps. Better safe than sorry i suppose!
Hope you get it sorted

Really gutted for ya m8 wish there was a way that sorta scum could b hunted down and shot for sport!
Drive along with shotguns out the windows and kill the c*nts.
I've got a proximity sensor on my alarm and as long as u get it set right its fine, wen mines on the drive and my parents squeeze past it it beeps at them.
All i worry about is it pissing people off and them doin summin 2 the car just cos its pissed them off tbh. But i rekon it is usefull cos the other night i heard it beep @ about 2am, it was parked on the road so i looked out the window, turns out was just my nieghbour comin home from a night out in his car, drove down the road, saw the flashin clifford sticker and drove reeaaaally cloe 2 get a better look

Little FCUKN sh!t head basstard wankars!? What exactly do they get out of it???
Ive got a Toad ai606 and i got proximity sensors set on it - cost fifty quid.
Its the nuts but it can sometimes drive you potty - the milkman sets it off, so do the dust bin peeps, and the old lady who walks past too slow and the people who lean in to look at the interior, oh and me when im pissed showing all my friends how good it is!?
BUT i dont give a sh!t that the neighbours complain, its my car, my money, my hard work and i aint letting someone take or destroy it full stop!
I cant believe someone actually done that to your car - sensors would definately prevent it though - it beeps three times when your in the zone and if you stay there or move closer the alarm goes off. They dont work on the front or rear though...
Hope you sort it and find the little coonts!

right since this has happened i have turned the sensitivity of my alarm up and have attempted to polish some of the scratches out mostly to no avail.
the bbastards thing is now starting to rust. as ford fiestas do so very well where the scratches are so fudgekin deep.
what would be the best way of preventing this.
my ultrasonics are doing a good job of picking uo things when they get close to the car and giving em a little blip which is just what i wanted.
other than that it looks like i'm not going to get anymore out as on some of em i've gone down to primer.
oh well such is life

yeah got in touch with the old bill who cam round and finger printed the whole car and got sweet f**k all from it
they gave ma a crime reference number and left it.
when i asked em if they thought it was coincidense that 2 had been done in the same night in the same way they said. well it might have been connected but its highly unlikely
but theres nothing we can do for you now. you'll just have to sort it out with your insurance. i wouldn't worry too much though it's only a fiesta
so they were a great help. the next question is... is it worth my ncb?

hello mate
my deepest sympathys go to you. i think that you should treat the rust then spray all the scratches with white primer, i no it aint gunna look pretty but it stops it rusting.
when you find out who it was find them, confront them find out why they did it, then break their jaw royally. show them that it is totally unacceptable behaviour then drag them to a cash point and make them get out the money that they owe you to fix your car.
make sure that you break them good
hope this helps
matt

hey people all though the car is looking nutsack and will be for a while i decided to go to town on it. i'm really sorting the bodywork out now as there were a couple of patches that needed doing. its getting there slowly and surely and looks like a 1.1 at the mo due to bumpers etc being worked on but should turn out for the best
