It's not at the moment!

It's still in the sprayers at the moment but Gadget is ready and waiting for the car once the engine swap and respray are done.

ETA of 1.5 weeks now

How's the Mk2 beast coming along then mate? Any pics yet?

Not alot's happened to the car over the last few weeks due to various problems cropping up elsewhere with both me and my mate Simon (my runaround giving up the ghost, simon having his work van stolen, me snapping my finger backwards, etc.) but there has been some progress.

Received my Bernie (CTS) stage 2 gearbox with Quaife ATB diff







New engine being built (photos show progress):











Cylinder head about to be checked over and port matched before it's all put back together!

hiya mate wot kind of power u gonna be pushing out when all done and thinking of doing the cossie management on mine mate so just wondered wot yours would be with the management on

I'm realistically hoping for 240bhp - there's a similar spec'd S1 on the rollers in the latest Performance Ford with near enough the same spec. as my engine using Cossie managment and was pushing out over 240bhp and around 250lb/ft torque - should make things interesting!

I'll let you know how it goes at the final mapping at Grove Garage though Andy mate (crikey - 2 Andy's with 1.9 FRSTs )

hopefully in 2 to 3 weeks with everything done.

May have it ready in time for the rsownersclub.co.uk forums FRST vs ERST thrash on 3rd May at Bruntingthorpe. Fingers crossed (well - on my right hand anyway )
