3 BAR MAP FAULT!! help needed

ive just put my brand new 3 bar map sensor on my ofab frst, but the car is now running lumpy and miss fireing when i rev it. i put the standard 2bar back on and every think is ok again :-?
is there 2 sorts of 3 bar map sensors one for cossies and another one for rst's? or do you think they have sent me a faulty one???
any advise would be greatly thankful, cheers

Can't run the 3-bar without a remap.

You can't change the MAP sensor for another with a different reading without having a remap.

The signal voltage for 10psi of boost on a 2bar sensor will be completely different to that of a 3 bar or 2 bar sensor.
