Asad, its a standard 1.6 Scirocco engine at the mo with no mods...but have a GTi engine in the garden which is currently being modified then that being plumbed in hopefully running on twin 40's!
that should be in by the end of summer...might put it in at the same time as the respray then the car will be truely sorted!!!

So many options tho eh? Engine wise...
1.8T from audi, 16v gti, VR6...
I got a friend who deals wid golfs n all Veedubs all day long.. He owns a bodyshop but he also transplants those engines.
How come you not going for 16v at least? Or is the Gti engine 16v?

cant go 16v or more at the moment as im only 18 and insurance will go SKY high!!...so im just sticking with the 1.8 8v gti engine for the time being...then later on...depending on whether or not im sticking with the car, i might swap to a G60 engine but i guess only time will tell...as well as the cash flow!!

Nice to see ya at maccys car park at Majeski stadium. Was that at Reading Cruise when the old bill turned up and the cruise got on South Today. I think it was after the one when redline turned up. U were lucky to get in the car park. Wish i was there but was stuck at uni.

whoah! sweet m8! i love the old scirocco's, they're quite rare nowadays tho. would love one as an alternative to a Golf.
that one's sweet, lovin the black paint job and the wheels go really well wit the car. if i ever get meself a Capri we should hav a battle of the oldies! mind u wit a GTi engine in there i reckon u might jus have the edge over a decrepit Capri 1.6 Laser
