When would you need to use a Manual Clutch Adjust Conversion?
I am having problems with mine as i cant get the car into any gears without slamming it in. I have heard that one option is to use a mk6 escort quadrant which i have ordered. I am installing a new uprated clutch, with an organic plate. Would i need to go the Manual Clutch Adjust Conversion route or will i be ok if i replace the quadrant with the mk6 escort one and renew the clutch cable?

i wouldnt go fro a manual one unless u start getting repeated problems with ur auto adjust (ie u keep having to replace it)

Just been and ordered my parts for this conversion prices have changed slightly-

7304012- £1.64
7304014- £23.79
7304016- £3.11
7304018- £12.12
7304020- £2.51
7346848- £2.15

And if anyone is after pedal bushings (Items 6 and 6A on Microcat) they are 7021871, 34p each, £1.36 for the 4 you need to do the brake and clutch pedals.

Thanks

Matt
