It has to go...yes, my car is for sale......
The time has come - I'm looking to sell my pride and joy....
It needs a little work and potentially a respray (I started modding it again!) but other than that it's still very much a one-off - just read the tech spec and look in the gallery on my (very) old web site - http://www.jamesw.plus.com/fiestas/
Serious offers only please, and only via PM here

Alas, it's true, although if I don't get any offers, I'll turn it into a track day monster (already doing loads of track days in the 172!), strip out the interior and have loadsa fun with it.
It's a shame to see it go, surely someone wants to buy it?!

BigBaldyGeordie has the measure of the situation....this is no £2k car, and a part ex for some hubba bubba ain't getting ya nowhere!
Being a bit of a perfectionist, I've had some of the mods 'improved' using lead rather than filler, hence the need for a respray.

Pretty much the same. Being a bit of a perfectionist, I've had some of the mods 'improved' using lead rather than filler, hence the need for a respray. I also sold the Cossie front bumper with a view to replacing it/updating the styling but then it went into storage, I got the Clio 172 and the rest is history...
The interior is still the same - chrome cage, leather/alcantara, Mk4 bits. And it's still got the 16s with Cossie brakes, custom Koni coil-overs, Puma rear beam etc. Oh, and a 200+ turbo engine, mapped by Ahmed Bayjoo with acres of chrome and a mad, bad chargecooler with a custom ally tank under the boot, all built by Pace (not to mention the Pace rad, etc. etc.)

Ps... Maybe a Up to date pic would be good, so people know what they are buying...
Just a thought so they know exactly what needs to be done and what to offer,

I'l see what I can do today for you - JohnH is champing at the bit!!!
AndyRS1800 - thanks for the post...I'd like to ensure the car goes to a good home *sigh* as I'd hate to see it 'vandalised' with tasteless mods. I'd do it myself, but I've just bought a house and have no time/money to do it any more, alas. It'd be nice to see it resprayed, with 17/18s, and a 2.1 16V Zetec turbo engine in it

MARK AB :how about £3000 and what respraying is needed.
Well, realistically, I'm after a bit more to be honest. I'll bear your offer in mind, but it is the lowest of the bunch so far...
Again, realistically, the whole car needs respraying as I've had a fair bit leaded and seam welded

I think we all must agree thatthis car has had so much put into it and by the looks of the pics you have put a link to it does look rather tastely moidyfied Fez but I think 3.5k would be your best bet after you said it needs a respray and as you know the resprays dont come cheap! maybe a settle on 3k would be more sensible
What come's next? who care's, why worry about things over which you have no control. Freedom is a voyage of discovery with all the enjoyment of seeing things and experiencing events for the first time. Just sit back and enjoy the ride.

No offence, but the car has more mods than you might first think. For one, the leather/alcantara interior with brand new Recaro SRs and chrome cage is worth a sizeable chunk. Then there's the endless body mods, highly detailed engine, custom Pace chargecooler setup, custom Koni/Puma rear beam suspension setup, etc. etc. If you bought the car for £3500 you'd have bought a bargain - a £3k interior, £1k of body mods, £2k+ of engine mods, £1k+ of suspension mods, and that's just for starters. At half price the above items come to £3.5k - the car is a bargain for someone who wants a seriously good project car, with the potential to be a show-stopper!
