My Fiesta RST, my mates S1 Escort and others [56k killer!]
My first ever car was a Mk2 Ford Fiesta 1.0 popular. It was pretty basic and so I'd already replaced the alloys and interior with XR2 items before I was 17. I then put on a pretty crappy bodykit which just about suited me at the time. I'll try and hook some pics of the beast out if I can find them.
Here is a pic of the first CVH engined Ford I had - a Ford Orion 1.6i Ghia (back in the day they were a great car to have as they were nearly the same performance as an XR3i but without the insurance to match!)
Here's a pic of my third ever car and the first ever Fiesta Mk3 I ever owned (and definitely not the last!)
After that I had a Mk2 Fiesta 1.4S for a few months before going to Uni in Southampton (only to return to car modding after 2 years!). During the second year at Uni I owned a very reliable and trusty Mk3 Fiesta 1.1L. This car's still going (my bro's driving it around now) and I'm having it back off of him in July as a runaround (he's getting himself an RS1800!).
After that I bought myself a nice grey H-reg XR2i as something to do my 83 mile return journey for about 4 months - it did it fine without any major problems (bar a few perished hoses giving up the ghost whilst doing over a ton on the M23 - whoops!).
I've got a picture of this car alongside the next car I had which was a Ford Focus 1.6 Zetec - the perfect car for cruising on the motorway and an all round nice car. Unfortunately some wally pulled out in front of me and wrote it off!
I bought my first ever Fiesta RST on the 29th March 2003, after having a long list of Fords.
I have to say this is the most fun car I've ever driven and is by far the quickest, it's been chipped, cam'd, had a head rebuilt and is on a recently fitted new turbo and she runs an absolute dream. I'm getting her rolling roaded in a few weeks so I'll post the results on here when I get them! The previous owner expects it to be pushing out around the 175/180 mark and by the way it goes I don't disagree!
Without further ado, here are the pics!
And here's a link to a movie file a mate took on my digital camera - pretty sweet (you have to crank the volume up a bit to hear the exhaust and Bailey competition dump valve!).
[UPDATE] Here's a few pics of my car on the Escort RS2000 Wheels with my mate's S1 alongside it
hxxp://www.geocities.com/fiestaturbo2003/images/BorehamHill.avi [EDIT: I'll upload this file soon - cacky 56k modem takes ages!]
Let me know what you think!
Cheers,
Andy

Thanks for trying guys but Geocities won't let you directly link to your webspace from other sites (miserable gits!).
So, you have to change the hxxp to http once you've clicked on it 'cos their server thinks that you've only gone to that picture 'cos you typed it in and weren't referred to from another website.
I'm going to spend some time making up a few webpages about the beast including all the pics and a few AVI files in the near future - I'll keep you updated!
Cheers for the comments guys,
Andy

Yeah, I'm going to get some 4x4 Cossie brakes on the front as the standard are equally as bad as my old Xr2i's! Of course, I'll be getting a new set of wheels - my mate's just bought an N-reg RS2000 Escort so I'll probably have his 15s off of that.
Next thing after that will be a strut brace and new shocks and springs haven't decided on which make to buy yet - hear different reports from different people about what's best. The guy I bought the car from recommended I buy Bilstein shocks and get some Eibach springs to go with it, but I only want to lower the car by about 20mm as I'm more interested in handling/ride comfort than looks!
Any ideas anyone?
Thanks for the comments,
Andy

I quite like the standards as well, BUT, you can't fit Sapphire Cossie 4x4 brakes behind 14's! So, I tried to stay as close to standard as possible and thought that the best upgrade would be to get wheels off another RS!
I'm running them on 195/50 15's at the moment and the only problem I've noticed is scrubbing on the rear struts when cornering. I'm hoping that fitting the AVO's and Yoko's (flatter tyres all the way across) will stop this from happening.
Currently it's running about 180bhp (yet to be rolling roaded) with a recently rebuilt head. I'm seriously tempted to get a Zetec bottom end and get it ZVH'd up as I'm sitting on a pile of cash after my Focus was written off by some tw@ pulling out in front of me!
Anyway, thanks for the comments guys,
Andy

Hiya guys, I've just uploaded a bunch of pics of some of my previous cars - let me know what you think.
I've still got to upload some video clips of me driving the turbo. I'll update this post with them this weekend sometime.
Cheers,
Andy
