cheap fiesta rs turbo. rare G reg! pics & spec
hello paople im selling my fiesta rs turbo & thought ide try it on here before ebay!
car is a white fiesta rs turbo on a G reg! (G reg is pretty rare for a fiesta turbo)
have allot of paperwork for the car & have v5 document!
car was fully painted last year in ford diamond white & the paintwork is very good/shiney! petrol cap area has been done & is mint!
standard bodywork appart form clear front/side indicators & door stripes removed.
has a set of mint 5 spoke wheels on it with very good 195/45/15 tyres fitted.
think it may have lowering springs fitted?
interior is standard appart from boost gauge in pod on dash & white dials.
Recaro interior is in MINT! condition.
engine is sweet with these mods:
full scorpion stainless steel exhaust (4"inch rolled out tailpipe)
chiped (chip is plugged in ecu but not sure what spec)
conefilter
bleed valve
not sure if it has green injectors? (they look green 2 me but not sure if standard)
car has tax till 4/05
m.o.t till 6/05
has full meta systems alarm with remote central locking!
bad points are:
smokey turbo (have another turbo to go with car but beeds rebuild) the
seized turbo does not smoke when its fitted to car so could be used for a while on that turbo!
pics show condtion of the car on outside
looks clean underneath
dirty but clean engine bay
im on the look out for a t2 turbo at the min & it will be put on ebay once its fixed!
but will sell it as it is for £1100 cash

i took off the seized turbo & fitted a 2nd hand turbo i had in the garage but when started it smoked. (seized turbo didnt smoke)
the intercooler had abit of oil in it from the last turbo so i reckon its just sucking threw the oil & smokeing.
the smoke is geting less (only fitted turbo 2day) so i'll get sum1 2 take it out for the day 2morra & see if it stops!
if i get the turbo fixed & the roof spoiler painted the car will be £1500! (might have it done monday)
then the car will be ebayed

look here`s how it is, you post a car that i`ve seen for half the price else where. i put a post up to inform folk of this, end of story. don`t harp on about it, deal with it.
as for a newbie, i know exactly how selling works mate. look on any other forum i`m on and i sell more stuff than most folk. i am however new to the fiesta scene.
and next time you pm me threatening messages mate, i`ll take appropriate action.

btwstripe, thanks for your input but this car has apparently had a lot of work done to it to get it into it's present condition which justifies the price.
Potential buyers should always take care to make sure they're happy with their purchase before agreeing to buy - the onus is on the buyer to be thorough, and the seller to be honest.
I can't see anything here that suggests Mr. Locke is being dishonest - can you?

I fail to see the problem anyway. Frankly if I had seen the car on ebay I would have bought it and broken or sold it at a profit myself. Thats life!
bttt for Locke, car looks good for the money to me.

as i have said, no need to keep bringing the matter up. i personally think the new price is still cheap. i asked a question to which was answered. good luck with the sale.
what i do have a problem with, is being warned off a post by threatening pm`s. this is out of order.

~nomad~ :its out of order to ruin someones for sale post with pointless crap too.
u hit the nail on the head there mate!
if i saw a rs turbo sold on ebay for £100 & then saw it sumwhere else for £2000 i wouldt have the CHEEK to put "it was only sold for £100 the other week"
for people who want to know:
the chap i got the car off had no money & wanted rid of it as he was then geting a company car!
it was not running with an ecu fault!
door card had screws in the tops holding them on!
turbo was seized
headgasket was gone
interiour was in bits
roof spoiler had 4 holes where it used 2 have a mondeo roof spoiler fitted
water pipe burst
gearbox mounts gone/snapped!
jacking point cover missing
flexi cap as petrol cap
all these parts have now been replaced or fixed & car is running fine but alittle smokey at present!
add all the parts & labour that have gone into this car & i traveled from 111am till 4am next day to collect & return home!
add all that up & im not earning much out of it!
the car is now running fine with alll the parts fixed

my intention was to break it up & make megga money on it mate but when u see the condition of this car & how mint! the interior is urll see its TOO GOOD TO BREAK hence ive fixed it! (has plenty of life left in it yet)
i could have put it up for £1500 as it is as its worth it but i just want alittle profit for my time & give sum1 the oppotunity of geting a cheap clean car!

mirrorman :how much is a new turbo??
from ford a brand new t2 is like £1100
but a recon turbo can cost as little as £195.
most people do T3 conversions cos they are alot cheaper.
maybe try for a good condition second hand T2 on ebay or here, they are usually £150

couldnt have saisd it betta myself mate! cheers for the posotive comment!
mileage is about 92k & according to the log book its the original engine for the car!
i have no paperwork for an engine rebuild but i have 1 for a full gearbox rebuild about 3yrs ago!
car just needs a turbo! thats it! (£150 off here)
car has 1 tiny bubble on bottom of drivers a-piller & 2 tiny bubbles on each corner of front of sunroof. (these are very minor & to the best of my knowledge these are the only imperfections on the body)
