jonyb4 :its the airbox thats the restriction not the filter

it was proved futhermore in a recent Fast ford mag, the original paper element provided the most bhp, even over the K&N etc

its the airbox that holds the key, might be worth getting hold of a 1.3 airbox, its bigger and not as restrictive

ive chopped the part of the air box off which was restricting the air

it runs much better like this anyway so it will do for now :D

Looks like its coming together nicely. Next step is sorting the wheels out after the kit is painted.

Id stick with ford wheels if I was you. Either 16V xr2i/RS 1800/ Mondeo wheels. Are you going to be at Fiesta In The Park and Ford Fair next year in it?

Those wheels will look good. I personally would have gone for 16v wheels because your car is a 16v colour.
