got this today, £30 just needs a little repair, will have to be satin black for a while, i arnt attempting to spray it petrol blue, too big a area, where as satin black piss can goes on/covers really easy, i know because i painted my cortina satin black with cans

needs repairing here

it doesnt actually look that bad, its full of filler, looks like its split down the seem, im going to remove the filler and weld it up then a skim of filler

was about 2 tins of filler hiding a dent, ive removed all the filler, pulled the bonnet back off knocked the dent out, the fold along the edge did split a bit, welded that up, just waiting for a small skim of filler now, not 2 tubs full lol

got no filler though so will get some next time im in york, no car shops where i live

That spoiler does actually look quite dishy And with your bonnet fitted will look a nice little car just needs a few more horses under that bonnet of yours

not being funny m8 but i know the colour of my car its petrol blue ive painted all the body kit bumpers spoiler door bottoms its deffinatly petrol blue

i checked the colour code when i ordered the paint

only reason im doing the bonnet black is 1 i use aerosols and it will look s**t on such a big area, 2 i want a black bonnet imo they look good

its deffinatly petrol blue and as far as im aware was when produced, ive had all carpets and door cards off etc, theres no sign of a color change

never heard of a lesser/poverty spec model coming with it

only the Si for that matter

once it warms up a bit or in a garage, sand all the painted areas down and then give them a wipe over with a rag and thinners/white spirit then let that evaporate, THEN paint it, bake it for a few hours then do another coat, sanding and using thinners prior to painting

then lightly sand with 1600 or higher, then laquer it, this should be baked for a few hours and left to harden for about 2 days before you wash the car, polish etc, technicly you shouldnt even let the elements get to it for this period but...

All normal fiestas came in the same colours as you could get RS and XR models in.

the bonnet is absolutally s**t, no wonder it was only £30, its bent, its got hinge studs snapped off in the capptive nuts, i should have looked better, but i should have also said sorry ive changed my mind once i saw all the filler in it.

ill put the vents on ebay and try to get some money back that way, and im just using my bonnet

If you have Access to a welder or someone that can weld. It out the section with the vents in and get it welded into your standard bonnet mate just make sure you give yourself plenty of metal to work with lol iv sEen it done a few times and can look factory , if your using cans then I would do the same and satin/Matt black it of you like the look of a lack bonnet I done mine with cans and it is hard to get a non streaky finish on a bonnet

i am going to cut the recess for the vents out of the white bonnet and i had thought of your idea, depends how brave i feel

might get another bonnet to try it with so im not letf bonnetless

ive put the vents on ebay buy it now to try and get some money back because it pissed me off a bit and ive already got some vents i dont need 4 vents

they are really good condition im asking £27 for them free postage

ill go put the white bonnet away now as whilst writing this ive decided ill get another normal bonnet and try to fit the recesses to that, theres one at my local scrap yard
