1.1 classic tuning

Postby Zak on Thu Nov 15, 2007 5:31 pm

Ok because of insurance prices im stuck with a ford fiesta 1.1 classic until i can get a cheap enough insurance quote to do an engine conversion  but i was just wonderin what cheap things i could do to just get a little more power, typically i was thinking a performance exhaust and an air filter, but that could just be the boy racer in me  ive got to do something lol even if it means just making it sound a bit better.

Stick a full system on it, change the jets or carb along with a filter which will certainly help it and get it set up properly on a rolling rd. U could do other things but would cost a lot for v little and ur insurance wouldnt like it either.

I had a 1.1 modded and it went quite well with the bits i had done to it for a 1.1 anyway.
Clean it, Polish it, Drive it!!!!

Back box and air filter an nothing else as it will cost money for next to no gain.

Full system is a waste of cash mate. Just change the back box. There is no gain to be had by fitting a system to this engine.
