1.1 exhaust size
if i bought 1 for a RS turbo, or anything above and Si, will it fit easily? iirc you need to have it reduced, how much are you looking at to have it done at a garage?
p.s. how big is a decent sized exhaust back box, not ott, a nice fit
cheers

I had my reducer made by a Powerflow dealer for £5, it's a 1.4 with a 1.6 backbox and the bore was about 8-10mm out.
box was a Sportex 3" outward rolled. if you wanted an easy option you can get Peco ones that will fit straight on but are a tad chavvy.

i just had a exhaust that was meant for a RS Turbo fitted on my 1.1 was a bit of a pain fitting as i had to get a reducer specially made and i had a few problems with it blowing, but thats all fixed now. I have a Scorpion Midsection which is 51mm ID and i have a Scorpion back box also with 51mm ID and it has a 3" inward rolled tail pipe
It doesnt sound loud at all, just sounds low and bassy when you drive it hard! so its fine for motorway driving. Which I like.

well it was blowing when i had a reducer which was slightly the wrong size...so i had to go and get one made up to fit. doesnt seem to blow at the moment but i may be adding some exhaust paste and tape on soon just to make sure.
