1.1 'Pushrod' engine advice...
Hey
Ive just gota 1.1 pushrod engine'd fiesta and was lookin round on the net and seen hardly anyone does any bits for em..only the CVH
Anyone got any advice on how to get some bits... modify em etc

You can get modified camshafts and pistons and things if you look hard enough, but its not really worth spending the money on such a small engine. You'd be better off spending the money you would budget for mods, on a transplant to a larger engine, as in a 1600 CVH, or even take the plunge and get a Zetec

The HCS is quite restrictive. It was designed that way for economy and cost reasons, although it was based on the Kent Crossflow, which was an altogether superior engine.
To be honest, any engine work other than routine servicing will be a waste of money. Drop a CVH in if you want to tinker under the bonnet.

Sounds a fair deal...
Getin a new 1.1 engine from a guy on here i think, so ill have spare bits of the old engine to tinker about with..like drill the airbox etc..
or if any1z interested in a realy smokey 1.1 with everythin there thn u no where 2 call...
