1.1 to 1.6...
Iv got a 1.1 at the moment, the thing is iv just bought a d reg 1.6 xr2 to put in it. I was wondering if anyone could advise me of any major things I will have to change to fit it in my 1.1 (g-reg by the way) drive shafts, structs, brakes, calipers hubs etc?

hi im no expert either, but as far as i know...
engine mounts r the same so straight in with ur old gearbox if u like but probally wouldnt last long so use the xr2 one, driveshafts also probally wont hack it for long so change them
deffinatly upgrage ur 1.1 front brakes
use xr2 rad
also upgrade ur 1.1's suspension for the 1600
cant think of much else
wana sell the engine from ur xr2?

cheers for the help so far, im still a bit confused to what exactly il need to do the job. What driveshafts will I need to use with the 5 speed box from the xr2? mines only a four speed at the mo. If i change the driveshafts this will mean il have to change the hubs aswell? Then for the brakes i would just use whatever ones go on the new hubs?
Cheers
