1.1i what is it?
I got 1995 mk3.5 1.1i happy little fester, was just wondering is it cvh engine? or is it ohc or whatever the other types are. Just wondering cause thinking about buying the Hayne's CVH Rebuild & Tuning manual and was wondering if it that stuff applies to 1.1i's?
**Hmm...its white**

i know that place would be good, they are not too expensive either and they do lot of stuff for hcs engines funnily enough. I definietly reckon best way to get anything out of 1.1 hcs is to talk to these guys

I believe the HCS is a revised version of the old Kent OHV engines and zakspeed got a 1.4 race version of them to ~400bhp using a KKK turbocharger, so anything's possible.
Was a 1.1 turbo on ebay a week or so back, ran up to around 6psi iirc. But if you've got the money to throw at it, do it if you really want to! Just cos you can

Yeah no-one knew whether he meant turbo was disabled or whether he was just taking up the manifold relative vacuum with it... IIRC he wrote in the listing that it had been up to 6psi previously...

oright dudes am actualy experamenting with a electric super charers just now we have been doin it for a month or so now. they ar acualy very good we fited 1 to a 1.4 pte engine witch had been camed and had a 4 mm over bore and a power boost valve. we managed to get 3 psi from it and the car was runing 19 horse up on what it was with the other mods. its well worth looking in to there selling on ebay for lik £60but i actualy make my own and i find they r far more efective as i am running mine on 24 volt instead of 12v. have a look around on ebay see what u think if u want to no more drop me an email.
