Think u would have to get engine mounts fabricated as they didnt fit a Zetec S engine in a MK3.

Bingo. There is one massive engine mount which sticks out of the left hand side (Looking into the bonnet) of the 1.25 Zetec (S/SE whatever you wanna call it).

That bolts to the mount, which is roughly just forward of the arch liner on both the Mk 4 and Mk 3. Personally I can't remember there being an engine mount that high on the Mk 3 so would look like a fabrication jobby.

They did fit a Zetec engine to the Mk 3, but I dunno if it was anything like the SE engine?

Always thought the 1.25/1.3 was a new engine for the Mk 4/5, hence the "Zetec S" stamped on the engine cover?

But then again, Im probably wrong, all I know is mine goes :) not gonna bother taking it out........yet
