looking at that pic you provided jam, that's an hcs engine :P , not a kent. hcs is a 'dereritave'(sp) of the kent engine but it is different.
i'll re-word it, that manifold wont fit on the hcs engine, the one in your pic.

Dont suppose it would fit - but you will be able to get manifolds for your car.

I meant your cam wont have worn enough to warrent getting a replacement - mine was very worn so the new one made a huge difference.

s**t your right - i assumed it would fit the way my Dads mate was talking about it - i never even thought to look  - please lay off the gloating until tonight if your actually on!!!

Pulse Air System

<94 HCS CFi Engines has this. It uses air and pushes in into your exhaust manifold.

Its a series of tubes that go over the manifold and warm up the air.

Something for emmisions IRRC.

>94 they removed them because the ECU's got better

Does [ERRR] of u lot know if you can put a better carb on a 1.3 HCS 1991 engine? Do you know if gettin the 1 of a MK3.5 with all the new ECU stuff will help? (theres a 1.1or 1.3 down at the scrappy). Cheers all!

Im guessing yours is an SX like mine - they dont have ECU's.

I think you can get Weber twin 40's. Loads of places will do them, and ive seen them in the for sale section in Fast Ford etc.
