http://217.204.20.36/index/GREFitInst.asp?PartNo=P296

Its in the listing as an 1.3 EFI but if you look at the fitting instructions its definately for the CFI single point injection.

Price is £93.50 + VAT

Ripspeed can get them in 3 working days

Oh, it is more expensive than some because it includes extra breather filters, one for the oil filler cap feed, and one for the crankcase breather.

You can use a carb bolt on filter, eg one for a MK2 which are available for about £40, but you may find that you need to modify the base plate slightly.

Is this the only one they make for my engine?

they do a panel filter as well but not a cone type induction kit.

With the CFI there's not much room between the top of the throttle body housing and the bonnet. This restricts the diameter of the pipe you could have to fix a cone on to - it would have to be very squashed and bend through a tight turn. This would make it really restrictive.

Unfortunately those of us with the HCS engine have chosen one that is pretty crappy for tuning anyway.

BTW the green bolt on type filter sounds good

I will have to settle for the Green induction kit

What extra power am I looking at with such filter on?

I'd be far too humiliated to take my engine to a rolling road, but i'd guess a couple of BHP at the most from the kit

having said that, my engine felt like it had a lot more torque in the mid range and revved better at the top end; but that may have been just the noise and wishful thinking playing tricks on me.
