Re: 1.3 tuning
never seen it done but its not worth it. hcs is such a naf engine the amount of money you would put into doing it get a bigger engine so much cheaper.
anything is possible the glanza's have 1.3 turbo's

Re: 1.3 tuning
As said, its not actually worth it lol, you wouldnt get any gains from it.
But it depends how mad you are lol, if you have a spare 1.3 fiesta kicking around, just get a turbo off a diesel engine or something.
You would have to modify the exhaust manifold for the turbo, then feed the air into the throttle body somewhow, could be done i suppose. You would probs need a different type injector because the little single point one wouldnt be able to dump enough fuel in, what injector though im not sure, would need to be a sinlge point one and one that would fit in the throttle body. Then the ECU wouldnt be able to cope because it wouldnt be able to read the amount of air going into the engine, so it would just work on a pre-set map. You wouldnt be able to re-map it either, and i doubt you could use any other ecu because it would need different sensors and loads of other stuff.
If you get a carb'd engine and modify all the throttle body, float chamber ect ect, then it could be done, but it would drink fuel like you wouldnt believe.
There is loads of other things too. Either way, its not really worth it, but as i said, depends how mad you are lol.
Try it and see what happens! Would be a first probs!

Re: 1.3 tuning
and that person would be meeeeeee!!!
yes i have a small garret T15 turbo off an astra diesel, can get exhaust manifold made and inlet plenum.
would need deomp plate to lower compression
not sure wot to do about fueling and the ecu.
i think megasquirt management could possibly work but its alot of money and it would work out cheaper buying an rsturbo lump or something
anyone feel free to give me help and advice
