1.4 CVH

Postby Tom Hill on Mon Apr 19, 2004 10:06 am

Hi there - as most of you will probably know, the 1.4CVH (in my Fiesta Mk3) comes with a 28/30 DFTM as standard.

What I want to know is, if I get a nice 32/34 DFT carb - which I'm told is a direct bolt-on - will there be anything else to consider if I just swap them over? Or are we talking the simplest of simple bolt-ons here?

They're going on Ebay all the time, some with inlet manifolds, some with air boxes. I understand I'd need the latter, but will I need the manifold?

Thanks :D
