1.4 ghia 89 help on making it faster????

hi i got a 89 ghia 75bhp (cab) what mods do i need to make it faster without an different engine???

there is various ways of doing this along the line of induction kits, exhaust systems, superchips (wouldnt advise it though), i think your best bet would be a decent exhaust system and a 57i k&n induction kit. You would be lookin at about 5 bhp.

Yeah a k&N, but not the 57i version, he has a carb not injection :lol:

Doubt the chip as well:wink:

Get exhaust though m8
7 Years and on my 5th Car, Fiesta 1.1i, Saxo VTR 98bhp, Bmw 318is Coupe,C2 VTS and now a 1998 Toyota Supra ;)

If its a cvh engine then u can put a carb from a mk2 xr2 on that will give u an extra 5-10bhp depending on how its set up, K&N bolt on filter and exhaust should give another 5bhp so your lookng at about 85 bhp :grin:

Not sure but u might wanna check if its a cvh if it aint forget the carb
