you won't get a "s**t loud roar" with an induction kit to be honest. i've got a k&n 57i kit on my Si, you get a slight induction noise when you hit about 3500rpm, and at standstill when you rev the engine you can hear the air being sucked in,which is cool, but part from that not much. you need to mate it to a decent exhaust for any real gain.

i do get a nice noise on back off mind, quite deep and burbly, but that could a hole in my exhaust

yea i got a custom exhaust made up and it sounds nice but its just when i get in the high revs its just my engine whining .. this girl in a corsa has got a PVD one and no exhaust and it sounds wicked.. i just thought they all made the same noise.... will any induction kit give a nice roar???

i can only really speak from experience of the K&N filter cos on both of my cars, i've had them. they do give a nice induction roar, and make the car slightly more responsive etc, bu unfortunately especially on the si, you don't get much bang for your buck!!!

i would imagine that companies like green cotton, pipercross, ram air etc will give same effects, but i can't say for sure

i've got a K&N on my si 16v it made a slight noise difference but not much. i've only had K&N so couldn't say bout the rest but if you got the money try the pipercross viper.

no point in getting the pipercross viper, waste of money i reckon!

your si wont roar anywhere near as much as your mates corsa :(

it will sound a bit better but not as much as your after, thought it was gonna roar like on my mates 106 rallye when i got my induction kit, but my 2i 16v doesnt sound as good :(

still sounds alright though
