has anyone ever tried this? i was just thinking about it today and wondered what kind of results could be expected. cheers

take the cat off also and it will go alright.

i might even experiement with some cams, a superchip + some 1800/2000 injectors.

I think its a good idea, but has anyone actually done it? will it bolt straight on as a direct replacement, and will the ECU adjust the mixture automatically?? I could swap my 90ps one with my dads 2L mondy one, wonder if he'd mind :lol:

dont the 130 bhp zetec engines have oil squiters in, which squirt oil onto the bottoms of the pistons to cool them. :rolleyes:
still not much show but a smidge more go

yeah i think they do oli, but i think the 1.6 would be alright.
Also has anyone seen the red escort estate with front + rear bucket seats thats got a 1.6 with a bigger throttle body?
