what should i be aware of before beginning?
how much is a wiring loom?
what are the best mods to get the most from a 1600 CVH engine...

Noooooooooooooooo DONT DO IT
If you've got a mk3.5 then the cvh wont meet the emission regs come mot time, why not go for a 1600 zetec instead? more power, more reliable, much easier to put in

A 1600 zetec doesn't have more power than a cvh though....if you go zetec might as well go straight to a 2ltr anyway.

yeah it will [ERRR] it goes off the year of the engine not the car aslong as the dvla etc have been notified

i agree dont go for the zetec there s**t! u can spend 100's on tuning parts n get piss al back for ur eforts cuz there inlet manifolds r to small.
id go for the 1.4 pte then spend a grand on the 1.9 block when u can get cheep insurance on it
