1.6 injection inlet manifold on a 1.1?
Hi there, i'm new to all this and just got myself a little azura 1.1 mk3 and want to do some mods to it. I was looking on ebay and came across a 1.6 xr2i injection inlet manifold and was wondering if it would fit?

Give it a good service first like change all filters air, oil and petrol. Change new oil, radiatorfluid and sparkplugs, look ur tappets clearance that they are correct. You can try to rize fuel press but i dont know does it have much of a effect?!

Re: 1.6 injection inlet manifold on a 1.1?
the 1.3 endura E engine fitted to KA's are EFi and the endura is based on the HCS, the engine in your fiesta. if you could find the loom, injection equipment, and mabye the flywheel from a later KA you could fit EFi to a 1.1, but it would need to be custom mapped and the KA is a 1.3. i was thinking of doing the conversion on my 1.3, but i turned 18 and could just afford an Si, so i did that instead. so unless you were really deturmined to tune an HCS (apparently they only get 120-140bhp with much headwork and cam changes, and no one does pistons for a turbo installation) i really wouldnt borther. just stick with it, build some NCB and buy a faster fez. hope this helps, tom
