Postby Si16_valve on Sun Jan 23, 2005 11:43 pm

I was wondering if it was possible to turbocharge my 1.6 Si. i know it can be done to the 1.8 and 2.0's but i dont want to do an engine swap as ive just put in a new 1.6 lump.

Cheers,

Yes it's possible, but it's not worth it. You could spend all that money doing it and then end up with roughly the same or a little more power than a standard 2.0L Zetec, which you could have simply dropped in there for £500 in the first place

The turbo conversion will cost at least a thousand
