If you want a low capactity tuned enigne then looked to the 1.6 Zetec from teh Zetec-S, that is a truely fantastic engine!

I do like the Si engine as it's so sweet. You really notice the lack of block stiffness as you go up in bore sizes through the 1.8 to 2.0. The larger capcity engines can't match the 1.6 for smoothness.

i'd love to see someone put the 1.8 head on the 1.6 bottom end, with the RS1800 inlet, 4-1 exhaust, and chip it
surely that should get it into triple figures.
Dan why you asking though? Has Dave (the guy that has your old Si) been pestering ya, lol

I will find out the sheet and get it posted on here, it was a while ago now but i doubt id throw it away as it was a kind of trophy for me, i dont blame you for being skeptical, i would be!

Hopefully i can find the proof, if not then i guess its something only i will ever know to be true, but to be honest....i dont care ifd im beleived or not... :P

Anyway im oiking the block out of there soon in favour of a built up 1.8 block
