Postby Marc D on Tue Feb 13, 2007 11:56 am

im after a kent cam for my cvh 1.6s but since imonly using the car for road andmaybe the odd trackday im not sure what to go for. i know the 22k is very popular but the 33k will give it more power but will i lose driveability?

any help appreciated :D

I would probably say yes,if its a fast road/daily driver then i would imagine it would be a right c**t on idle in traffic.Ive opted for the CVH22 as a compromise, hope this helps :D

the kent CVH22 is roughly equivalent to the standard XR2i EFi cam. So you could get a standard cam kit for an xr2i and fit it to yours

oh right didnt know that. is that why the 3i has 109bhp and the xr2 and 1.6s have 90bhp although the throttle body is a lot less restrictive on the xr2i than the tld carbs?
