1.8 16V XR2I / RS1800 INLET MANIFOLDS

i have a 1.8 zetec xr2i and after talking to power engineering they made me aware of a variation with the inlet manifolds between the 2i and RS1800.

I have upgraded the ECU, throttle body and have cams to go in all from an rs1800 but the manifolds are suposibly different, i have an rs1800 manifold and the stuff power engineering said adds up. the 2i the manifold looks the same the only difference is 2 letters on the back on my current one it says SO (standard output) the rs1800 says HO (high output?)
this is exactly [ERRR] power engineering said to look for and apparently there is a major difference although not visable to the eye? can anyone confirm this.???

The inlet manifold has a larger bore and the throttle body is slightly larger :D
