* 1.8 16v XR2i wanted *
Looking for a 1.8 16v XR2i. Idealy Radient Red (so can put spoiler and maybe Si rear straight onto it). But would consider silver, dark blue and black. lower the milage the better, prefer unmodified,
Will still be saving last bit of money for it for the next couple of weeks, but lets see whats available.......????. around the £1500 mark. i know its not much for what im after, but ive seen some very nice motors go in the past for the same or less.
Reason is that for the money it will cost me to find a good 1.6s engine, have it reconditioned and fitted etc to my current car. id be aswell as buying a better car.
plus currently ive the hassel of fitting the electric windows, central locking, wiring in my spot lights, finding/buying/fitting 16v or recaro interior for my 1.1 (all of which would be on a new car already).
So this is the new plan unless a engine becomes availabe soon for my current motor.
Greg.

its a valid point mate.
might consider a FRST aswell.
but theres a hell of a lot more to buy, plus to keep running.
although turbo power would be great to have.
