I read a post about this and was wondering if it really is an option? will it fit etc? also i have some vernier pullies off a 2wd saff cossie, was wondering if they can be made to fit either 1.6 or 2 litre zetec? any help would be great, thanks!! Aid

It can be done, but the head needs to be skimmed.
Not worth it in the end, just stick a 1.8 or 2.0 in it.

why does the head need to be skimmed, does it lower the comp ratio?

if u pick up the head cheap then it would save a lot more cash than doing a whole conversion. also labour would be a lot less, head could be done DIY stylee.
1.6 si
