1.8 Diesel...I heard...

CVH and Zetec tuning, suspension and braking mods.

I was told by someone that a bog standard Diesel could not be turbo'ed without considerable modification. Is this True?? and if so that would I need? I don't suppose I could just stick a T1.5 onto it?

So it wouldn't blow up then if I stuck one on just like that???

I got told that because diesel's had a higher compression, playing with it could cause it to go nuclear. This was just hear say tho.

So basically what your saying is I should go and get myself another engine yeat. one that's already turbo'd? I suppose I could do that, I just wanted to find out if I could do it anyother way before having to get into a big job like that
