1.8 zetec in a mk4 escort 1.3

I have a mk4 escort estate 1.3 popular. It's been fitted with a 1.6 cvh carb engine but I want to fit a 1.8 zetec engine for economy as the car will be a daily runabout. What I want to know is what will I need?

Iv got a loom and ecu out of an efi cabriolet can I fit this and will everything connect up to the zetec engine or will I need the engine loom and ecu out of the car that the engine came out of?

If so how and where do I connect it to my existing loom?
