Postby Dexarius on Sat Mar 10, 2007 1:15 am

First i would like say sorry if this topic have been covered many times. Tryed to search but didnt find what i was looking for :(

I have lowered my Fiesta 1.8iS 60mm (full suspension kit) and would like to know if it is possible to fit 15" aloy's without any problems?

The wheel size is 195/50-15 if it helps

195/50/15 will scrub like a cheap Bic™. Really want a 195/45/15 tyre to ensure clearance and the rim wants to be no wider than 7J with an offset of ET35.

From a driving point of view it's worth changing the springs to a not so harsh a drop (30mm). As I have found changing from a 60mm to a 30mm drop it pays dividends to the handling and ironically the car seems to have gained mechanical grip as well due to the corrected geometry

go for -45 max as 60mm breaks your frickin back and doesnt do much for the car eitther. -40 minimises chance of over wearing tyres, scrubbage and damge to tyres by arches

my cars lowered 60mm and i regret it
