1600 Vs 2L Gearbox
Right people... i have a 2L powered fessy
Ithe car engine sounds sweet etc runs fine untill u reach aroun5ish k revs. then the car makes a kinda strange nose kinda like a motor bike i surpose? or a blowing maniolf (u know [ERRR] i mean i hope"!!).
[ERRR] way, iv been told that a 1600 box on a 2L engine will be no good as its not design for it. his words where to me where "you would think a 1.6 Box on a 2L engine would b very fast s its a lower ratio but this is not the case" he then went onto explain why? before i buy a mondeo box i want to know if any1 ellse on here has a 2L engine running a 1.6Box or if any one has encountered this problem!? the car doesnt seem to be reving that well top end or feel as if its reving fast at all... Im stuck here people im sorry for going on and asking alot of questions... but i really need some help! and if any1 ellse is every thinking about doing this conversion id be happy to help them, my addy is sudders16@hotmail.com
THANKS!
