I have found a tandoori oven to work well when u are tryin to reprofile cam. it give a very nice smooth surface and allow the cams to pull the pistons higher as well as givin off a very nice Tandoori chicken fragrance. Very plesant when drving around town.

You might want to bore out the block with some dynamite, skim the head with a wood plane, and then fit chocolate pistons, plastic rods and some pizza valves and don't forget the chip shop chip's ECU.

Would this technique work on my si cos they are Bic™ to tune  Instead of buying an induction kit i just took the head off and i get loads of cold air into the engine  perhaps i could buy an ecotec valve and a couple of turbo-zets as well :bonkers:

Well, the Webmaster of this site owns a wicked fast FRST that only uses half it's head bolts (weight saving) and from time to time, just for the pure pleasure of it, he removes the head and pushes it round his home town singing "The Green Green Grass of Home". Maybe you guys could try that? I hear Che- I mean Malta is a lovely place at this time of year...

just be careful when using the angle grinder, wear goggles and a flame proof suit, and abestos gloves, and make sure u have the blessing of the sultan of the martian desserts, if he says you cant do it then you will have to overide his authority and goto the god of tarpyllisuoy, who will grant you a magic grinder and the plans to change the spec of your cams, the only problem is the god appears as a monkey in a vision after you have drunk 2 large bottles of red x, and swam around a lake infested with skunk pussies, with only the humps of a camel to keep you afloat.

have fun

And this explains why is takes Fraser several months to change a Zetec sump, and why he has acquired a taste for Bud and Frosties of an evening  :D
